BUSINESS SKILLS
The following programs are provided in a self-paced, no pressure environment. An instructor will work with you to develop your own learning plan. LIMITED SEATING, classes fill quickly! Registration fee is $50 per session.

In Computer Operations: Introductory or Advanced Microsoft 2003 Office Suite you learn one or all Microsoft Office 2003 programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Publisher. Certificates may be earned for each application completed.
In Portfolio
Production you create a personal portfolio for your job search. Practice business English and math, explore potential careers and occupations, develop a resume, conduct a job search and practice interviewing techniques. In Keyboarding you learn proper techniques to become a touch typist or to increase your speed.

Start a New Career as a Clinical Medical Assistant
As a Clinical Medical Assistant the student will be trained to help the physician carry out procedures, care for patients, perform basic lab tests and administer medications in a physician’s office or a clinic setting. This course combines 134-hours of classroom instruction and 160-hours of an off-site externship to provide students with a comprehensive
learning experience.

Program Cost: $2695 includes books, consumable supplies, externship, and course completion certificate. This program satisfies all training guidelines established by the California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants (CCBMA) and graduates will be qualified to apply for optional certification.

Become a Pharmacy Technician
As a Pharmacy Technician you will help the pharmacist package or mix prescriptions, maintain client records, refer clients to the pharmacist for counseling, assist with inventory control and purchasing, as well as collect payment and coordinate billing. This course combines 182-hours of classroom instruction with a 120-hour pharmacy externship to provide you with a complete learning experience.

Program Cost: $2695 includes books, consumable supplies, externship,
and course completion certificate. Upon successful completion, graduates will receive a certificate of completion and become eligible to apply for the required registration as a Pharmacy Technician in California.
