Minimum Requirements for Administrative Positions:

  • A valid California Administrative Services credential
  • Master's degree for assistant principal, principal, director or assistant superintendent positions
  • Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience
Special Notes Regarding Employment:
  • The applicant offered this position, if not a current District employee, must be fingerprinted by the District and have those fingerprints cleared by the Department of Justice (DOJ) before a contract can be signed.  Actual hire date will be no earlier than the date that fingerprint clearance is received from the DOJ.  There is a fingerprint processing fee, payable by the applicant, to process fingerprints.
Salary: District-Paid Benefits (Current Cap is $1,008.84 per Month):

Certificated employees who work 1.0 FTE are required to participate in a health plan.  
Participation in the dental and vision plans is optional and not a requirement.

Invitations to Interview:  
  • Applicant packets will be evaluated and invitations for interview will be extended to those candidates who, on the basis of the written materials submitted, appear to be the most qualified for the position

Interview Process: 

  • Applicants will be asked to spend 30 minutes writing a response to an essay question chosen by the Selection Advisory Committee 
  • Applicants will be asked to participate in a simulation/role playing event which will be observed by the Selection Advisory Committee 
  • Applicants will participate in an oral interview 
  • References will be confirmed for the Selection Advisory Committee’s chosen finalist(s)
  • Finalist(s) for all Administrative vacancies will require an additional interview with Cabinet
  • Finalist(s) for specific Administrative vacancies will require additional interviews with the Superintendent and Board of Education
