What a treat to get to come to "work" at Penngrove each day. One of my favorite parts of the day is drop off and pick up (I know that's hard to believe, but it's true!) It is a time I get to see sweet interactions between students and their adults, meet your dogs with their heads hanging out of a window, see future Panthers and have a positive exchange with kids and families. 

 

I was born and raised in Santa Rosa, and attended SRJC before going to Chico State for my Bachelors, and SSU for my teaching credential. I later attended Phoenix University for my Masters of Educational Supervision and Leadership and my Administrative Credential. I was a teacher for 17 years before going into administration 2 years ago, and I have loved every minute of my career in education. I now live in Rohnert Park with my husband Lance and three of our four kids. We love to camp, go to the beach and watch movies together. 

 

I believe strongly in the role of a school to form a community which comes together to help children learn and grow in all areas of life, and our families are an integral part of that team! 

 

2022-2023 will be a great year to stay awkward, brave and kind together Panthers!
