Why Choose Our Schools?
With an iPad for every student, technology is infused throughout the instructional program in Petaluma City Schools. Subject area and grade level professionals have created learning environments focused on progressing student development in the areas of effective communication and critical thinking. We understand the importance of developing key critical skills that provide students a passport to success in college, career and beyond.
Collaborative learning environments are created by new, modern classroom furniture that fosters flexible seating arrangements and student engagement.
Positive & Safe School Culture
Petaluma City Schools ranks in the 99th (grades 7-8) and 95th percentile (grades 9-12) respectfully in creating positive safe school culture and climate when ranked against other schools in California (Source: Healthy Kids Survey). Nurturing the Whole Child
It is our goal to educate the whole child. Every student in Petaluma City Schools will have opportunities to become involved in visual/performing arts, athletics, technology, and career awareness activities. We encourage families to check the Afterschool Activities Program (A.S.A.P.) for regular updates on events that students can sign up to attend. This unique opportunity is available to our students.
