  • Band Sectionals

It is so important that our band students continue to play together during remote learning! There will be instrument sectionals that take place each week during your students "Class time".

Our Music department is paying for these instrument coaches, so please make sure that your student knows exactly when they are required to sign on for their instrument sections.

  • Instrument Supplies Bin Drop

If your student needs any instrument supplies during this remote learning process (Reeds, valve oil, slide oil, cork grease, etc), Please email Ms. Hopkins rhopkins@petk12.org. She will organize a "Bin Drop" where you can come to school to pick up that item outside the front office.

  • Suggested Private Lesson Teachers During Remote Learning

Providing private lessons for your student is a GREAT way to keep your student improving on their instrument during this online learning time. Listed on the document indicated below, are private music teachers that teach online lessons.

Teachers at the top of the instrument lists are very highly recommended and are professionals in the music industry on their instruments.

If a teacher is listed with an JMU.edu email address, they are offering lessons for FREE! They are college students from James Madison University. Although they are still working on their music degrees, they are still very qualified!
