• TK, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade use Blue Bots both independently and with instruction from Ms. Roberts. 2nd-5th are using Dash and Dot bots along with an app called Blockly.  In the upper grades, some of the teachers teach lessons on their own and Ms. Roberts also comes into the classrooms for dedicated instruction.  6th-8th are using Lego Mindstorms and Mr. Jackson is teaching these robotics classes.

    Petaluma Accelerated Charter School won the top Team Award in the 2019 Sonoma County Robotics Challenge.
     
     
    Thanks to a 2019 grant from Petaluma Educational Foundation, we were able to purchase more robotics equipment along with engineering materials and a new 3D printer. All classes have engineering lessons throughout the year.
