The Drama Club will be meeting on Mondays during lunch (12:15 - 1pm) via Zoom during distance learning. The goal of the club is to select script(s), rehearse and perform for our school community. A student director and club members are responsible for the plays.

The Gay Straight Alliance is a social club for LGBTQ students and allies. Ms. Horowitz and Ms. Brooks Long are the club sponsors.

Technology Tuesday

During distance learning, the Technology Tuesday Club will meet on Tuesdays during lunch (12:15-1pm) via Zooma. Club members select STEAM activities and competitions that they are interested in participating in. Ms. Hazen is the club sponsor. Past activities have included The Bay Sci Challenge Competition, The Lego Robotics Challenge, exploring 3D printing, STEAM breakout rooms, coding with Micro:Bits, computer tear aparts, and more.

This club meets weekly and plays chess. Experienced players and beginners are both welcome!

Climate Action Club

If you have ever wished for a way to do something concrete and organized against climate change, you should join the Climate Action Club! Through a combination of advocacy, coordination with the youth-led Sunrise Movement, and any other strategies that we discover in the future, you can take action against climate change while having fun and meeting new people. Don’t miss the Climate Action Club! The club sponsor is Ms. Sullivan.

  • Do you want to start a new club? Here are the steps:

    1. Think of something you are interested in or passionate about.
    2. Find at least 6 other students who are interested in the same thing.
    3. Find a teacher willing to sponsor your club (hint: Ask our librarian Ms. Hazen!)
    4. Fill out the Application for a New Club form togehter.
    5. Create your Club Constitution (This describes your club, when it will meet and the jobs of the club officers.)
    6. If your club needs money for supplies, fill out a Budget Proposal form.
    7. Turn in your Application, Constitution and Budget forms to Ms. Gustafson.

    As soon as your club is approved by Principal Kriss and ASB (student council) your club will be added to the school calendar and you can start your official meetings!!
