The educators in Petaluma City Schools understand that learning does not stop at the end of the school day. It is our goal to give every PCS student the opportunity to participate in at least one extracurricular activity over the course of the school year, so we have created ASAP (After School Activities Program).
This unique program is exclusive to Petaluma City Schools, and will give our students further opportunities to become involved in visual/performing arts, athletics, technology, career awareness activities, and more. The creation of ASAP exemplifies the district's commitment to educating the whole child, and will support our efforts in developing effective communicators and critical thinkers by providing hands-on activities that develop those skills. Research shows a significant connection between participation in extracurricular activities and academic achievement, so it is important for all PCS students to get involved with ASAP.
