PCS Update: 10-16-20
In an effort to identify steps needed to safely reopen schools, California developed criteria included in the Blueprint for a Safer Economy to assist school districts in the planning process. Consistent with this blueprint, the PCS Board of Education voted to continue in Distance Learning through the end of the first semester.

Sonoma County Road Map to Safe Reopening

Food Benefits from the State (P-EBT)
Pandemic EBT (P-EBT): Families with children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals can get up to $365 in food benefits from the State of California.

Important Meal Distribution Announcement
Due to the holiday during the last week of school, there will not be meal distribution on Monday, May 25th. Instead, PCS meal distribution will happen on Tuesday, May 26th, and Thursday, May 28th.

Distance Learning Will Continue Through End of School Year
To reduce the spread of COVID 19, Governor Gavin Newsom and State Superintendent Tony Thurmond advised that school should continue to take place via distance learning rather than on school campuses throughout the remainder of the 2019-20 school year in California. We will follow our academic calendars for the end of the school year under distance learning conditions.

This is a friendly reminder that all school playgrounds, parks, and other outdoor facilities (e.g. tennis courts, tracks, etc.) are closed under the Governor’s current executive order until further notice.
