Get Ready for the 8th Annual LumaCON! Comic Convention for Youth

Don’t miss the 8th annual LumaCON! Comic Convention for Youth on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 10 AM – 4 PM at the Petaluma Community Center in Lucchesi Park.  Admission is free, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, tickets will be required and available in a limited amount.  Register for your tickets starting January 3rd through the LumaCON website.  Every person in your party-even babies-need tickets.  Masks are required to be worn both indoors and outdoors.  Professional and youth artists, illustrators, and graphic novelists will display and sell their work in the Artists’ Alley. Popular culture enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to wear cosplay (costumes) for maximum fun. Teens and children can participate in the cosplay competition. Try out LARPing (Live Action Role Play), enjoy crafting for kids, check out our new Sonoma County Library Bibliobus stocked with graphic novels and comics, draw your own comics, meet Star Wars characters from the 501st and Rebel Legions, and more! If you cannot participate in person this year we also have virtual programming including panels and videos from the Charles M.
